Carlos “El Jefe” Javier

Born in ’88 in a land far away. One day when 13, he came across an old box ~ and found inside the treasures that will teach him the secrets of life. Dusty LPs and cassettes and within the greatest sounds he’s ever heard: Hendrix, Joplin, Jethro Tull, The Who, Woodstock 69’, Zeppelin and much more and for him, it was like falling in an abyss of freedom.

The next step was obvious, find an instrument and try to replicate the glorious art of Rock n’ Roll. From drums to bass guitar, he finally stumbled upon the electric guitar. That was like finding a missing piece that now make him whole.

He moved to the Great White North in 2010 hoping to learn how some of his favourite bands like Rush and April Wine came from that massive chunk of ice. Now, he has the honour to play the guitar for Outlast in one of the best cities in Canada, and the best part of this story is still about to be written….
